Snow!

Oh my gosh, what a surprise... snow!
It was a clear morning with hardly a cloud in the sky... but mid morning as I started out down that old familiar roadway, I noticed there were tiny little flurries dancing on the windshield.
I'm asking myself where these flurries came from, as it was really clear just a while ago, but from the time it took me to drive 8 miles on the West side of Camano Island there was a few inches of snow on the ground and I was stuck halfway up the hill. Couldn't go up, couldn't back down... Thank goodness for the County road guys that came to rescue me with the sand truck/snowplow ;).
Sure is pretty stuff, but people were stuck upside down in ditches, and smacking into each other at every turn.  I'm glad we all finally got home.
It's supposed to snow more tonight, and the wind is supposed to pick up. I guess we'll just have to admire how pretty it is, and hope it melts off sometime soon.
